Refunds are the amount given back to guests for various reasons.
The refunds report shows the information about the amount refunded to the guests, mode of refund, order details, and the reason for refunding. The reason for refund can be balance amount, order cancelled, etc.,
The report can be exported to CSV, Excel, and PDF formats.
To generate a refund report:
- Login to TRAY HQ with your credentials.
- Select SALES and then select Refunds.
Following table provides the information about the UI fields in the refunds report screen.
Field Description From/To Indicates the start and end dates for which report needs to be generated. Sites
Indicate the name of the site. You can select a single, multiple, or all the sites.Note: If no site is selected, the report displays data for all the sites.
Sameday Select from the drop-down list whether you want to generate the refund report for the entire day.
- Select Run Report.
The Refund Report generates.
The following table provides the details of the column in the refunds report.
Indicates the date and time of refund.
Indicates the check ID.
Indicates the guest account or guest name.
Indicates the staff name who authorized the refund.
Indicates the mode of payment through which the guest was refunded.
Indicates the amount refunded to the guest.
Indicates the reason for refund.
