If the cash drawer is not working, do one of the following:
- Check physical connection from cash drawer to printer.
- Ensure attached printer can print.
- Ensure KDS app is logged in.
- Ensure drawer is assigned to user in HQ
- Ensure drawer is assigned to user in POS.
- If unsure, have the user log out on POS and log back in.
- If enabled for the site, attempt a no-sale.
- Buzz printer in KDS
- From main KDS screen, tap Admin.
- When prompted, enter a manager PIN.
- Tap Printers.
- Tap the pencil icon for the printer connected to the cash drawer.
- Tap Buzz.
- Restart Tablet, repeat buzz test.
